Objectives

At the end of the session participants will be able to:

• Identify and discuss challenges in the use of artificial hydration in palliative care patients
• Identify the importance of effective, patient centered, multidisciplinary teamwork in relation to hydration in palliative care patients
• Follow the correct procedures for the erection of sub-cutaneous fluids 

Intended Audience

Registered General Nurses & Medical staff. Please note that all training delivered in St Benedict’s Hospice is based on local policies and procedures
